About the Role
This vacancy presents an exciting opportunity to join our award winning team in Aberdeen, at a small independent family-owned pair of pharmacies. We are looking for an enthusiastic Independent Prescribing Pharmacist to join our friendly team who pride themselves in providing quality healthcare to the local community through a range of NHS and private services.
The salary offered is highly competitive and will be dependent on experience and agreed upon working hours. A workplace pension is available and in addition, the owner provides a generous performance bonus scheme to incentivise and reward excellent working practices.

Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be an enthusiastic team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, they will possess great attention to detail, be highly organised and passionate about helping others
You will be an integral member of the team working as a prescribing pharmacist based between both Ferryhill and Rosemount Pharmacies. You will provide the Pharmacy First Plus service, as well as a plethora of other services currently underway at these sites, to best meet the needs of our community. Should the successful candidate be unfamiliar with any of the offered services full training will be provided
As well as working closely with the immediate pharmacy team, you will be expected to continue to build lasting rapport within the community and with our local organisations with whom we have fostered excellent working relationships with over the years
You will be expected to continue the provision and development and expansion of services and embrace any changes to the pharmacy contract
Working Schedule
There will be an expectation to contribute towards the weekend rota, working a half day on alternating Saturdays
Flexibility in working hours is offered and expected in return

Essential Qualifications
MPharm or equivalent
Current active registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC)
Non-medical Independent Prescribing qualification (applicants working toward this or nearing qualification may be considered for this post)
