Our colleagues at NHS Scotland wanted to highlight the 3rd Scottish Postpartum Contraception Conference which is being held in Edinburgh in March. The conference agenda is set to be full of interesting content as well as topics which would be relevant to community pharmacists.

The Scottish Government have released circular PCA(P)(2021)09 which advises of changes to the Drug Tariff with respect to remuneration arrangements to regulate the delivery of the remuneration Global Sum for 2020/21.

This Circular advises community pharmacy contractors that; From 1st October 2019, the claim form used under the Public Health Service for monthly capitation payments related to the Emergency Hormonal Contraception (EHC) service will be removed and claims will only be accepted through the Universal Claim Framework (UCF); and FP10 English prescription forms have been updated with changes to exemption categories.
