Digital Prescribing and Dispensing Pathways - Key Questions Series

Published: 14/03/24

Pharmacist speaking with a patient.

With Adam in the policy office now working one day a week in the DPDP programme, CPS are now closer to the action and helping the team understand the dispenser point of view so that the paperless prescription system that is designed works for you.

To do this well, we'll need your help as we go along, so you will start to see us bring you key questions that we need input on. The first of these is to do with patients and prescriptions where there isn't a home address available. We know that the first place you will go to is the patient or the prescriber to try and fill in the blanks, but even then you might struggle or there might not be an address at all - for example if the patient is homeless.

If you have anything specific to add, please just get in touch at enquiries@cps.scot.
